Grab a longer lunch hour

New clock defies time. Sort of.

Grab a longer lunch hour
24 January 2011

Lunch hours by their very definition should last 60 minutes. Sixty all too brief minutes.

Not any more because this new clock offers up 12 extra minutes for your ham sandwich to settle.

The technology in the 'Lunchtime Clock' means that every time it hits to 11am it speeds up by 20%, until it claims it's midday when actually it's 11.48am. Over the next 72 minutes it slows to resynchronise with the correct time so by at 1pm all is normal.

Alas, this doesn't help those on the (surely more common) 12pm-1pm lunch hour. Video below.
