If you ever needed motivation for leaving the network of sweaty sardine cans that is the London Underground behind, then here it is.

This excellent graphic, created by Dr Wayne Osborne, a GP for Treated.com shows you exactly how many calories you can burn by walking between Underground stations instead of being ferried around in the pipes of doom.

Yes, it might take a little longer by foot, but just remember: if you walk from Marble Arch to St Paul's, you've earnt yourself a packet of crisps. And who doesn't want crisps? Crisps are great.
