If you've ever let your eyes wander while standing in the queue at your local supermarket, chances are you've happened upon a variety of headlines that have both confused and captivated you. Our personal favourite was "A pizza ate my hands". We kid you not.

When you've actually dared to go towards the headline-sporting publication, more often than not you'll find the full story to carry none of the imagined excitement that you were hoping for.

Exploring the disappointing distance between headlines and truth, Eric Wedum has taken on a rather intriguing task. Each day he finds a headline on a major news site and then creates a cartoon, without actually reading the full story.
