Famous Films In Two Frames

Famous Films In Two Frames

Famous Films In Two Frames
17 April 2015

We really have been wasting a lot of our lives. All those hours spent watching classic films to find out what happens, and it turns out we could have found out by simply looking at two frames.

The Swedish graphic designer Viktor Hertz is proposing to release this fantastic collection of posters of famous films, reducing the subject to two minimal images; essentially, a 'before' and 'after'.

Hertz tells us to, "Think of it as an extremely short film, summarizing the story and visualizing the changes the characters go through." and he is aiming to produce prints of them via Kickstarter.

Beginning life as 'The Secret Pictogram Project', Hertz's fans helped him pick the final list of movies, which includes The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, the original Star Wars trilogy, Fight Club, A Clockwork Orange, and Forrest Gump, as well as a a few more which won't be revealed until certain funding goals have been hit.

Poster prices start at Kr100 (£7.73) for a 30cm x 40cm print on 170gsm paper - and it'll need to hit its Kr40,000 goal first (just over £3,000) - head here to get yours and, in the meantime, take a look at the images below.
